| COMPOSITION |
Each capsule contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate IP eqv. to 250 mg / 500 mg of Amoxycillin along with Lactobacillus 60 million spores. |
| INDICATIONS |
Respiratory, Genitourinary, Skin and Soft tissue, Dental, ENT infection , Chlamydia Trachomitis in pregnancy, Meningitis due to susceptible strains, Enteric fever, Gonococcal urethritis, Bacteremia, Septicaemia. |
| MODE OF ACTION |
Amoxycillin acts by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Lactobacillus is and acid and bile resistant strain that colonizes the intestinal mucosa which is used to manage diarhoea. Lactobacillus and their probioactive cellular substance exert many beneficial effects in the GI tract. They prevent adherence, establishment and replication of several enteric mucosal pathogens through several antimicrobial mechanisms. |

| ADVERSE EFFECT |
Nausea, epigastric distress, diarrhoea, skin rash especially in patients with mononucleosis, urticaria and serum sickness, thrombocytopenic perpura, leucopenia, eosinophilia, pseudomembranous colitis, superinfection. |
| CONTRAINDICATION |
Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the composition. |
| SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS |
Hepatic failure and possibility of gastric malignancy to be excluded. In pregnancy and lactation and to elderly patient, use with caution. |

Oral contraceptive, Erythromycin, Tetracycline |
| DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: |
Adult: 250-500 mg thrice daily , Gonorrhoea: Single dose of 3 gm, Enteric fever: 2 or 4 gm daily in divided doses for 14-21 days. |
