| COMPOSITION |
Tablet & Suspension (Mint & orange flavoured) : Each tablet contains Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel. I.P. 300 mg; Magnesium Trisilicate I.P. 150 mg.; Magnesium Hydroxide U.S.P.100 mg. & Simethicone I.P. 25 mg; Each 5 ml.of Solacid Suspension contains Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel.I.P. 300mg; Magnesium Trisilicate l.P. 150 mg.; Magnesium Hydroxide U.S.P. 100 mg. & Simethicone I.P. 25 mg;Colour : Erythrosine. |
| INDICATIONS |
Hyperacidity, peptic ulcer, flatulent dyspepsia, gastric irritation. |
| MODE OF ACTION |
Neutralises gastric acid, helps endogenous prostaglandin synthesis and thus protects the gastric mucosa. |

| ADVERSE EFFECT |
Prolonged use of Aluminium Hydroxide in patients ingesting low phophate diet may cause osteomalacia, nausea, vomiting, constipation. |
