1941- Late Shri Bhupendranath Dey established “Dey’s Medical Stores” at New Market, Kolkata & included his brother Shri Dhirendranath Dey in the business.

1949 - Dey’s Medical Institution got the license to distribute the medicines of Pfizer all over India & opened offices in Bombay, Delhi, Madras & new shops in Patna, Cuttack & Guwahati.

1956 - Dey’s Medical started manufacturing Sulfa Drug & Shri Bhupendranath Dey bought eight Bigha land beside Bondel road to establish a factory.

1958 - Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy inaugurated the factory on 15th January.

1960 - Shri Bhupendranath bought Italian automatic machine “Janasi”.

1962 - The German machine “Strunk” for manufacturing sterile Penicillin injection was bought by the encouragement of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy which was the first automatic Penicillin Plant of Eastern India.

1964 - Queen Elizabeth II invited Bhupendranath & Dhirendranath at dinner while she was in India. Two renowned scientists Saleman Waxman, the inventor of Streptomycin & Alexander Fleming, the inventor of Penicillin visited Dey’s Medical’s Bombay office.

1969- Late Shri Bhupendranath established “Desicom Public Limited Company” to produce bulk Chloramphenicol which was merged with the main company in 1987.

1971- Shri Bhupendranath set up a factory at Naini near Allahabad in 1971

1974 – Mr Goutam Dey, son of Late Bhupendranath Dey joined Purchase Department.

1979 - Mr Ranajit Dey & Mr Subharthee Dey joined into the business.

1983 – Keo-Karpin became pioneer in producing TV serials.

1988- Shri Bhupendranath invented a new Ayurvedic medicine ITONE & a new specialized Ayurvedic team was formed under famous Ayurvedacharya Shivkali Bhattacharya. Bhupendranath was awarded with Acharya Prafulla Chandra Memorial Gold Medal for his excellent contribution in the medicine world

1989- A new factory was established in Joka and Keo Karpin Body Oil was launched.

1991- The company was formed into a legal corporation & Mr Goutam Dey, Mr Ranajit Dey & Mr Subharthee Dey started taking the company to the next level of excellence with their strong leadership and guidance.

2007 - Dey's Medical Stores (Mfg.) Ltd. clocked revenue of Rs 50 crore

2014 – ITone captured ranking within Indian TOP 3 ophthalmic preparation with a record sales of 50 lakh phials per annum
