| COMPOSITION |
Each tablet contains Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg. & Paracetamol I.P. 500 mg. |
| INDICATIONS |
Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, cervical spondylitis, intervertebral disc syndrome, sciatica. non-articular rheumatic condition, postoperative and trau- matic inflammation, painful inflammatory conditions in gynaecology and dentistry, acute gout.

| MODE OF ACTION |
Diclofenac is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase. It also appears to reduce intracellular concentration of free arachidonate in leukocytes. Its potency is greater than indomethacin and naproxen etc.. Paracetamol acts on CNS to produce analgesia and antipyretic effect. |
| ONSET OF ACTION |
30 to 60 minutes. |
| DURATION OF ACTION |
12 hours. |
| ADVERSE EFFECT |
Nausea, vomiting, epigastric discomfort, skin rash, peptic ulcer, oedema, impairment of hepatic function, rarely. |
| CONTRAINDICATION |
G. I. bleeding, active peptic ulcer, NSAID induced allergic asthma, analgesic nephropathy. |
| SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS |
Impaiment of hepatic, renal or cardiac function, blood coagulation disorders, recent proctitis. G. I. disorder. |
| DRUG INTERACTIONS |
Lithium and digoxin, diuretics, methotrexate, cyclosporine. hydantoins. charcoal, domperidone and metoclopromide. alcohol, zidovudine. |
| DOSES |
AduIt: One tablet 2 to 3 times daily. |
