| COMPOSITION |
Contains Ofloxacin 0.3% w/v. |
| INDICATIONS |
Acute and sub acute conjunctivitis, mucopurulent conjunctivitis, blepharo conjunctivitis, blepharitis, bacterial corneal ulcer, bacterial keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, pre-operative prophylaxis in ocular surgery, external ocular infection. |
| MODE OF ACTION |
Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme which is required for DNA replication and thus causes bacterial lysis. |
| ADVERSE EFFECT |
Itching, discomfort |
| CONTRAINDICATION |
Hypersensitivity to Ofloxacin. |
| SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS |
To stop usage if irritation persists or increases. |
| DOSES AND ADMINISTRATION |
Adults: To instill 1-2 drops into affected eye(s) every 4 hours. In case of severe infection, 2 drops hourly until improvement.
Children: Not recommended. |
